Magnifique Printemps : a closing ceremony featuring musical and poetic duets in Lyon

After three weeks of literary events in Lyon and throughout the region, the 10th edition of Magnifique Printemps 2026 will come to a close with an intense and moving evening.
From March 7 to 29, 2026, the festival will have offered more than fifty events celebrating poetry and the French language in all its forms.
To conclude this anniversary edition, it’s time for sound and poetry duos.

Mother : a poetic story about grief
Actress Fany Buy and author Gaëlle Joly Giacometti will read the first pages of Mother, a poetic tale exploring the mourning of a mother, the aftermath, what is exhausting, and what absence allows.
A sensitive, intimate, and universal reading, carried by an artistic duo who will bring depth to the words.
Tribute to Grugoriy Choubaï
The evening will continue with a tribute to Grugoriy Shubay, a major figure in Ukrainian culture.
This tribute will be presented by Kseniya Kravtsova and Jérôme Triaud, in a poetic and musical dialogue that will bring to life the memory and commitment of this great poet.
A closing ceremony in keeping with the festival
This closing evening fully embodies the spirit of the Magnifique Printemps festival in Lyon:
