FLE training: the FASP® project from Lyon to the 16th FIPF Congress in Besançon

From July 10 to 17, 2025, the Alliance Française de Lyon had the pleasure of taking part in the International Congress of Teachers of French (FIPF) in Besançon. This not-to-be-missed event for those involved in FLE (French as a Foreign Language) was a fantastic opportunity to meet and exchange ideas, and to promote our expertise in teacher training.
A first participation marked by a stand dedicated to FLE teachers
For the first time, the Alliance Française de Lyon hosted a stand specially designed for teachers of French as a foreign language. The aim? To showcase our range of teacher training courses and tailor-made stays, as well as to share innovative pedagogical tools for teaching French.
Throughout the week, our stand welcomed teachers from all over the world – Argentina, India, Singapore and many other countries. Every day, numerous visitors took part in our activities, including an interactive Wooclap quiz to test their pedagogical knowledge while having fun. The winners were awarded a face-to-face training course dedicated to FLE + accommodation trainers, reinforcing their professional and cultural development.
The FASP® offer: a concrete, innovative solution for teachers
The highlight of the congress was the presentation of our FASP® offering (Le français au sens propre), a key tool for supporting FLE teachers in the creation of thematic teaching sequences.
The presentation was led by our Director Nicolas de la CRUZ and our Pedagogical Manager Emmanuelle LEHEMBRE, and included a workshop by FASP® Project Manager Céline GUEROIS:

Creating a FASP® sheet from authentic documents:
A clear methodology with a ready-to-use matrix for building teaching sequences, particularly around ecology. It takes around 15h to create a complete worksheet, from documentary research to the final version. -
Gamify the sheets to motivate learners:
Integrate gamification tools like Kahoot or Wooclap to make courses more engaging and interactive. -
Implement an eco-committed project in your school:
Encourage a global approach by involving students, teachers and partners in a sustainable educational project: ecological workshops, cultural activities in the media library, or collaborative events.
Tailor-made language stays in Lyon
The congress was also an opportunity to present our range of personalized language stays for groups of teachers or learners.
