Discover “Guerre, et si ça nous arrivait ?” by Anne de Boissy

The Alliance Française de Lyon is delighted to invite you to a powerful and deeply human theatrical experience. On Thursday, June 18 at 8:00 PM, the Alliance Hall will be transformed into a performance space to welcome director and actress Anne de Boissy for her striking one-woman show : “Guerre, et si ça nous arrivait ?”.

A free performance, available by reservation only, that invites audiences to reconsider their perspective on exile and international solidarity.

The Work: A Powerful Reversal of Roles

Adapted from the book of the same name by Danish author Janne Teller, the play offers a thought-provoking scenario: war breaks out in Europe. Democracy collapses, everyday life is turned upside down, and roles are reversed. In order to survive, Europeans must now flee their homes, leave their lives behind, and seek refuge in the Middle East.

Through the story of this reversed migration, the work challenges us to reflect on our relationship with others, the reception of refugees, and the fragility of our certainties. It is a necessary and impactful text that resonates particularly strongly in a place dedicated to intercultural exchange such as the Alliance Française.
