Focus on The Publishing House

Founded in May 2007 by Dominique Braillon and Andrea Iacovella, La rumeur libre Éditions is an independent publishing house under publisher’s contract, rooted in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region in Sainte-Colombe-sur-Gand, near Roanne.
Borrowing its name from a work by the poet Patrick Laupin, this literary structure has set itself the mission of “civilizing together” through books by exploring singular and demanding reading journeys. Its eclectic catalogue brings together contemporary poetry, narratives, theatre, critical essays and philosophy, while also promoting reprints of unfindable works and previously unpublished translations.
