Jarring’Fest 2026 is stopping at Alliance Française de Lyon on Wednesday, October 14, for an opening night celebrating contemporary music and influences from around the world.
On this occasion, discover Lwanbe, an artist whose music lies at the crossroads of hip-hop, bass music, maloya, salegy and electronic music.
Lwanbe: a borderless musical universe
It is difficult to put Lwanbe into a single category. Their musical universe blends a variety of influences and traditions to create music that is energetic, hypnotic and deeply immersive.
Drawing on hip-hop, bass music, maloya, salegy and electronic music, the artist creates a musical language that brings cultures and sounds together. KAPOK: a new live performance to discover in Lyon
On October 14, Lwanbe will present KAPOK, their new live performance, at Alliance Française de Lyon.
This will be the first time the new show is performed in Lyon. Inspired by their upcoming debut album, to be released on Galant Records, KAPOK offers a musical experience where rhythms, electronic machines and percussion intertwine, inviting the audience into the artist’s world.
More than just a concert, this live performance is designed as an immersive experience: a meeting point between electronic music, cultures of the Indian Ocean, hip-hop energy and club culture.
