Enjoy two weeks of full French immersion between Lyon and Paris, combining intensive courses and cultural discoveries.
Week 1 – Lyon (17–21 August)
- Morning: immersive French group classes at the Alliance Française de Lyon – 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
- Afternoon: cultural activities and discovery of the city, its heritage, and its gastronomy.
Week 2 – Paris (24–28 August)
- Morning: immersive French group classes at the Alliance Française de Paris – 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
- Afternoon: cultural activities in the heart of the capital’s most iconic landmarks.
- A placement test is mandatory before the start of classes.It is taken online after you register or during a consultation appointment.

In order to offer a modern and interactive experience, the course includes:

The placement test assesses language skills and places each participant in a suitable group. It is available online or during a consultation appointment.
After registering, you will receive an email giving you access to our online platform. A self-assessment will help determine which test is best suited to your profile.
This French placement test, based on the four skills of the CEFR (listening and reading comprehension, speaking and writing), lasts between 1 hour and 1 hour 30 minutes.
It is then corrected by an expert trainer from the Alliance Française in Lyon, ensuring accurate placement in the appropriate level.

At the Alliance Française de Lyon, learning French is above all a cultural immersion and a human experience. Our teachers are all certified FLE experts with Master’s degrees, who use a communicative and action-oriented approach. From day one, learners are encouraged to speak and interact in order to progress naturally in French.
The courses use the Défi actuel (A1-A2) and Défi (B1-B2) textbooks, available in a hybrid edition (student book + online activity book with videos, tutorials, and pronunciation exercises). Our online teaching tool centralizes materials, exercises, and videos for a comprehensive, interactive experience.
Our experienced teachers ensure consistent progress with clear objectives and final tasks at the end of each session. Learners develop skills that they can use in their daily and professional lives.
Learning French with the Alliance Française de Lyon is much more than just taking a class: it’s about experiencing the language on a daily basis, making rapid progress, and discovering the richness of Francophone culture.

- Processing time: 3 business days maximum.
