Would you like to improve your written French and become more comfortable in your daily, academic, or professional interactions?
The Alliance Française de Lyon’s Oral Passport workshop is designed to strengthen your written French skills, organize your ideas, and structure your writing into coherent texts. You will learn to express yourself in detail and clearly on broader topics, give opinions, and present facts accurately.
Supervised by an expert FLE teacher, this workshop is ideal for learners at levels B1 to C1 who wish to consolidate their writing skills in addition to their main course or personal practice.

The program follows the standards of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). The activities mainly develop:
- Reading comprehension
- Written expression (text structure and clarity)
Examples of educational activities:
- Writing descriptive, narrative, or argumentative texts
- Reading articles
- Vocabulary work
- Targeted grammar and spelling reviews
The objective per level:
- B1: threshold level: express yourself fluently and understand more complex texts. Learn more

- C1: Proficient level: master French with ease and communicate fluently on complex topics. Learn more
You must have attained at least an A2 level to participate in this workshop.
Teachers use teaching resources that they have designed themselves, based on the methodology of the Alliance Française de Lyon.
To do this, they draw on a variety of materials and tools: authentic texts, practical worksheets, guided exercises, multimedia documents, and interactive activities, enabling learners to make effective progress in written expression.
In order to offer a modern and interactive experience, the course includes:
- Zoom platform
- Apolearn: online learning platform featuring resources, videos, and exercises
- Wooclap: quizzes and interactive activities to boost participation
The placement test assesses language skills and places each participant in a suitable group. It is available online or during a consultation appointment.
After registering, you will receive an email giving you access to our online platform. You will start with a self-assessment, which will enable us to offer you a test tailored to your profile.
This French placement test, based on the four skills of the CEFR (listening and reading comprehension, speaking and writing), lasts between 1 hour and 1 hour 30 minutes.
It is then corrected by an expert trainer from the Alliance Française in Lyon, ensuring accurate placement in the appropriate level.

Our online educational tool centralizes materials, exercises, and videos for a comprehensive, interactive experience.
Our experienced teachers ensure a coherent progression with clear objectives and final tasks for each session. Learners develop skills that they can use in their daily and professional lives.
