What is level B2?

Level B2, known as the advanced or independent level, corresponds to the fourth stage of the CEFR. At this stage, the learner becomes independent: they communicate clearly and in detail on a wide range of topics, give their opinion, and nuance it.

It allows you to:

• Understand the main ideas of complex texts on both concrete and abstract topics, including technical discussions in your field.
• Follow and take part in conversations or debates, even when several people are speaking quickly.
• Interact with spontaneity and ease, so that a discussion with a native speaker flows naturally.
• Write clear and detailed texts, present and defend a point of view, and explain the advantages and disadvantages of different options.

Thus, level B2 strengthens language mastery and enables clear, natural, and effective communication, preparing learners to move on to level C1.

What does the B2 French course include?

The program for B2 French courses is based on all communicative and linguistic skills defined by the Common European Framework.

It develops four main areas:

• Listening comprehension
• Speaking, both continuous and interactive
• Reading comprehension
• Writing skills
