Most visitors need:

• Lyon: 2 to 3 days
• Paris: 4 to 6 days

Two days are enough to discover Lyon’s historic center, sample its renowned cuisine, and enjoy its riverside districts. Paris offers a much larger number of museums, neighborhoods, and attractions, making a longer stay worthwhile.

If your schedule allows, spending about a week between both cities provides an excellent introduction to France.
