What is the CEFR scale for French?

The CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) is the standard used to assess French language proficiency. It consists of six levels: A1 and A2 (Basic User), B1 and B2 (Independent User), and C1 and C2 (Proficient User). These levels measure a person’s ability to understand, speak, read, and write in French, from beginner to near-native proficiency.
