What are the conditions for being an “au pair”?

The traveler must meet the following conditions: be between 17 and 30 years old, single and childless, able to speak at least a minimum of the language of the destination country.

The traveler must also have either an employment contract with the DDTE (if not a European national), or an employment contract with the host family (if a European national).
