DAEFLE exam – Accompagner les apprenants par l’évaluation
The DAEFLE (Diplôme d’Aptitude à l’Enseignement du Français Langue Étrangère) is a professional certification offered by the Alliance Française in Paris and the CNED.
The “Accompagner les apprenants par l’évaluation” test assesses the candidate’s ability to use assessment as a teaching tool, while putting the skills learned in the DAEFLE program into practice.
This exam is intended for individuals who have met the prerequisites for the DAEFLE training program:
- Have passed the DAEFLE training entrance exam
- Have completed the CNED training course and obtained at least 20 points out of 55 in the continuous assessment.

- 2026 DAEFLE registration form, completed and signed
- Notification of academic monitoring for the block presented (issued by the Alliance Française de Paris)
- Valid ID
Any incomplete or late applications will not be processed.
- You will receive your exam invitation by email one week before the exams
- If you did not recieve it, contact : test_examens@aflyon.org.
- Results are sent by the Alliance Française de Paris
- No refunds will be given for registration fees.
- A deferral to the next session may only be requested upon presentation of medical, professional, or transportation incident documentation (strike or delay on the day of the exams).
- The supporting document must be written in French and sent no later than the day after the exams to the following address: test_examens@aflyon.org

Since its creation in 1984, the Alliance Française de Lyon has been teaching the French language and promoting cultural diversity.
We are an examination center approved by France Éducation International, located in downtown Lyon, with rooms suitable for exams.
Our examiners are certified and trained according to the official DELF and DALF standards.
In 2025, more than 2,800 candidates placed their trust in the Alliance Française de Lyon to take a French exam, including 111 candidates for the DAEFLE.
