“Close to return, pending departure”

“January 2018. Recently arrived from Djanet, with my head full of pictures and my sleeping bag full of sand, I am getting prepared for my pending departure to Agadez. No, I am not jocking. I am talking  about two cities right in the middle of the Sahara desert ; strange destinations for some of you, an evidence for my passion. “Theatre of rebellions”, “red zone”, the Sahelo-Saharan strip is to me a wonderful space of discoveries and learning. Meeting local population is always a source of great knowledge and shared reflexions. A forbiden and forgotten land that I cannot stop expoloring.”
