France 3 captures the energy of the Alliance Française de Lyon with the Pockemon Crew

As part of the Fête de la Musique, the Alliance Française de Lyon was delighted to welcome the renowned Lyon-based group Pockemon Crew for an exceptional performance blending hip-hop and jazz, at the crossroads of urban dance and musical innovation.

Pockemon Crew, known for their numerous international awards, recently gained notoriety in France and internationally thanks to their acclaimed performance at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

Today, they propose an ambitious new artistic concept, combining the intensity of hip-hop with the expressive richness of jazz. An original approach that they are developing through performances in the Lyon metropolitan area, in conjunction with major local cultural events.

Their presentation at the Alliance Française de Lyon was more than just a show: it was a moment of intercultural encounter. In our French-speaking and multicultural environment, which welcomes students of over 120 nationalities every year, this event illustrated how art can create links and celebrate diversity.
