At l’Alliance Française de Lyon, you can take advantage of the student status which allows you:

· To work part-time
· To become affiliated to the student Sécurité Sociale system
· To take advantage of CROUS
· To get the same advantages as university students

Conditions :

· To be less than 28 years of age
· To be registered in an intensive course at l’Alliance Française de Lyon for more than three months. (The course should be lasting at least 60 hours per month )
· To become affiliated to Sécurité Sociale by paying an amount of 198€

NB:
Sécurité Sociale reimburses medical expenses if you are sick, have an accident or are hospitalised. If you wish to register in an intensive course at l’Alliance Française de Lyon for a period longer than three months and you are less than 28 years of age, IT IS USELESS TO TAKE A PRIVATE INSURANCE IN YOUR COUNTRY OF ORIGIN.
