The Alliance Française de Lyon offers you host families ready to welcome you and offer you :
- A warm and friendly welcome,
- The comfortable of a fully furnished room in the house/apartment,
- The possibility of practising French outside the classroom,
- A complete immersion in a Lyon family,
- A sharing of different cultures,
- The discovery of French and Lyon’s gastronomy,
- Easy access to the Alliance Française de Lyon and the city centre.
You will be accommodated in a single room with :
– an internet connection
– a bathroom
– toilets shared with the family and/or other students
– access to the kitchen
– access to a washing machine.

What are the booking conditions?
Accommodation will only be booked during your studies (one day before the beginning of your course and leave the accommodation one day after the end of your course) at the Alliance Française de Lyon.
ATTENTION: the booking is monthly and the host family option is only accessible for courses of 1 month minimum and subject to availability!
How to make a reservation?
1. Select your course in the General French course menu
2. Proceed to the payment of your course on our website
3. Contact info@aflyon.org and indicate that you wish to subscribe to the accommodation assistance service.
We will contact you as soon as possible to confirm availability and to put you in touch with a family.
Please note:
Your request for assistance in finding accommodation will only be processed after receipt of your course payment and at least 60 days before the start of your course.
The Alliance Française reserves the right to assign you to a family depending on availability.
